For Valentine's Day, come to Oak Cliff and learn about growing bulbs, the perfect addition to any garden in North Texas. Bulbs cover a wide variety of plants from small crocus to massive elephant ears. This program will help you decide if bulbs are right for you and what bulbs should be planted in your garden, and it will be an opportunity to learn from the successes and failures of 20 years of growing bulbs in North Texas.
After the program, there will be photos on display of bulbs that have bloomed in recent years in the host's yard and a tour of the garden. Depending on the weather, there may even be some bulbs in bloom. Light refreshments will be served.
The location for this month's meeting is 3165 O'bannon Drive, Dallas 75224, phone 214 941-8114. Pictured are a couple of the bulbs in bloom last winter.
